Zyme Prime is a combination of 9 enzyme blends in high concentration. These enzymes are effective in enhancing the breakdown of complex carbohydrates, triglyceride fats, starches, and proteins. While not as potent in protein hydrolysis as Peptizyde, Zyme Prime excels at carbohydrate hydrolysis. This results in less bloating and gas production, as well as helping certain food problems such as lactose intolerance.
Zyme Prime contains CereCalase, a proprietary enzyme blend of hemicellulase, beta-glucanase, and phytase, to help solubilize plant fiber and reduce phytic acid. Phytic acid can bind up important minerals and proteins, thus reducing their availability to be used by the body.
Galactosidase is useful in breaking down hard-to-digest carbohydrates found in legumes, and helps reduce gas produced from their fermentation in the intestine.
Amylase and glucoamylase are used together to hydrolyze starchy compounds into simple sugars.
Lipase is present to hydrolyze triglycerides to short-chain fatty acids.
These enzymes are derived from plant-based sources. Zyme Prime is an excellent companion supplement to Peptizyde. The combination of both products provides digestive help for all the basic food groups: proteins, fats, and carbohydrates.
Zyme Prime will not interfere with medications or other supplements, and may be taken with other enzyme products.
Zyme Prime is helpful in easing the gas production, bloating, and cramping from such dietary problems as lactose and fatty food intolerance. Parents report digestive improvements such as firmer and more formed stools. Some improvement in tolerating phenolic foods was noted. Parents also report that the digestive improvements seemed to improve childrens disposition, such as waking in happier moods. Zyme Prime was observed to often increase weight gain in children who were under-sized, possibly through increasing bioavailability of food nutrients.
Reported Side Effects
No significant or consistent pattern of side effects was noted with Zyme Prime.
Contraindications for Zyme Prime Supplementation
Enzyme products should not be used within 1 week of scheduled surgeries or if bleeding disorders are present. This product may not appropriate for those with known allergies to Aspergillus enzyme proteins, though non-specific mold allergies do not necessarily preclude use of fungal enzymes. Consult your medical doctor for further advice, and err on the side of caution. Those with known anaphylactic allergic reactions to fungal proteins should NOT ingest fungal-derived enzymes.
No upper limit has been established for oral enzyme supplementation. Animal studies indicate that extremely large doses of enzymes may be ingested without toxicity or ill effect. Most parents report Zyme Prime dosing of from 1 to 4 capsules per meal. Dosing is based on the amount of food ingested during a meal, not by body weight or age. Feel free to vary the dosage of Zyme Prime based on content and size of meal. Those meals higher in carbohydrates and/or fats may call for higher doses of Zyme Prime. For reasons of practicality, no more than 5 capsules need be taken at one time, with no more than 9 capsules taken consistently in any 24-hour period.

For Expedited Domestic Orders (Next-Day Delivery): Provided that we have received your order by 2pm, we will process and dispatch your order the same day using Royal Mail’s Tracked 24hr delivery service. This service aims to deliver your parcel within 24hrs of the dispatch time – in some instances this may not be possible and delivery may fall within a 48hr period. If you have not received your order after 1 day from the dispatch date please contact us. This is a tracked and insured service and we will be able to assist you in locating your order.
For Standard International Orders: We use Royal Mail International Track (+ Sign), dependent on what the destination country accepts. Royal Mail state a 3-5 working day delivery guideline for this service within Europe, and a 5-7 working day guideline worldwide. However, we have found this is rarely the case outside of major cities, especially during busier periods (such as Christmas) this may not always be possible. This is a tracked and insured service, please contact us if you have not received your delivery within the above stated time-frames and we will assist you in locating your order.
For Expedited International Orders: We are able to offer expedited international shipping worldwide respected couriers. We can use DHL or another courier of your choice, but we are likely to get the best deal from DHL. Please feel free to use the 'Contact Us' form to ask for a DHL quote for your order.
We are able to offer expedited delivery worldwide using various couriers; this is something that we will examine on a case-by-case basis. Please email us and we will investigate your delivery options and let you know what is possible.
If you have selected a shipping method that does not include tracking/insurance then you accept and agree that in the instance that the parcel is lost or delayed, you will not be entitled to a refund or a replacement product, as we will be unable to make a claim for the loss.
We retain proof of postage at all times and reserve the right to use a different shipping method than you have selected in order to give your order added security in certain circumstances (e.g. for extremely high value orders we may upgrade to Courier delivery).
