Protein Powder Made Differently | Beef protein (unlike whey and plant based options) is non-inflammatory, meaning you get all the benefits of protein powder; muscle growth, strength gain and fat loss, without the bloating and discomfort. Not only this, but our grass-fed beef protein is highly bioavailable (absorbable) and also contains other nutrients beef is known for, such as; collagen, gelatine and a variety of vitamins and minerals.
Our cattle are grass-fed, regeneratively raised, antibiotic/hormone free and come from farms that go above and beyond... following standards for biological diversity, climate impact and animal welfare.
Each bag contains 1kg of grass-fed beef protein, which equals 50 20g servings or 25 40g servings.
Each serving contains 19.26 grams of complete protein containing all 9 essential amino acids.
Unlike most vanilla proteins we use actual Madagascan Vanilla rather than a synthetic or extracted version to create our powder. As a result the protein tastes like real vanilla and isn't overly sweet due to us only using a small amount of maple per serving. But, just like with our cacao flavour, is easily made sweeter by adding some raw honey or fruit.

Why Beef Protein?
Although we always encourage everyone to take a food first approach to nutrition, protein powders can be really handy in the modern world when we’re often short on time. However a lot of people struggle with inflammation, bloating and discomfort from classic protein powder sources that are readily available today, such as; whey, soy and other plant based options. Our grass-fed beef protein is non-inflammatory, and not only contains 19.26 grams of complete protein* per serving, but it’s also packed with collagen, gelatine and other key micronutrients. This means it provides all the classic benefits of protein powders; aiding in muscle growth, strength gain and fat loss, whilst having non of the down sides. And in addition, the collagen and gelatine support connective tissue (tendons, ligaments and joints) as well as hair, skin and nails. Whilst the wide array of micronutrients it contains (vitamins B6, B9 and B12 as well as the minerals Zinc, Selenium and Iron) help with a variety of bodily processes and general wellbeing. *Complete protein refers to the fact that beef protein contains all 9 essential amino acids that we need to consume from our diet to build protein within the body.
How / When To Use Consume 1-2 servings per day. Each serving is 24g (equivalent to 3-4 heaped spoons of the APE scooper). For each 24g serving, mix with 75-125ml of liquid (milk is our favourite). Add the powder before the liquid for best blending.
Beef protein can be used at any time throughout the day to increase protein intake.
Dr Gabrielle Lyon, a leading researcher in the areas of protein, muscle health and the importance of muscle mass for longevity strongly suggests that for optimal health we should be eating 1.2-1.6 grams of protein per kg of bodyweight per day as a minimum, which is well above the standard recommendation. Whereas Peter Attia MD author of #1 New York Times Bestseller, Outlive: The Science and Art of Longevity recommends 2g per kg of bodyweight per day.
Our favourite time to use our grass-fed beef protein is either post training in a shake or on a busy day as a high quality meal replacement.

Our raw cacao flavour has just five ingredients; grass-fed beef protein, organic maple sugar, raw cacao powder, Madagascan vanilla and sea salt. That means it’s free from; dairy, whey, soy, fillers, artificial sweeteners and preservatives… all ingredients that are unnecessarily included in lots of protein powders today.
It tastes like rich chocolate (think 70-85% dark), but is easily made sweeter by adding some raw honey or fruit.

Orders that are in stock are dispatched daily at 2pm Monday – Friday.
Orders placed before 2pm Monday to Friday will be dispatched the same day.
Orders placed after 2pm Monday to Friday will be dispatched the next working day.
As such, orders placed after 2pm Friday will be dispatched the following Monday.
Orders will not be dispatched on Bank Holidays or weekends.
For Standard Domestic Orders: We use Royal Mail’s Tracked 48hr delivery service as standard. Royal Mail state a delivery guideline of 1-2 working days for this service, however during busier periods (such as Christmas) this may not always be possible. If your order has not arrived after 2 working days from the date of dispatch please contact us. We have tracking numbers for this service and will be able to assist you in locating your order.
For Expedited Domestic Orders (Next-Day Delivery): Provided that we have received your order by 2pm, we will process and dispatch your order the same day using Royal Mail’s Tracked 24hr delivery service. This service aims to deliver your parcel within 24hrs of the dispatch time – in some instances this may not be possible and delivery may fall within a 48hr period. If you have not received your order after 1 day from the dispatch date please contact us. This is a tracked and insured service and we will be able to assist you in locating your order.
For Standard International Orders: We use Royal Mail International Track (+ Sign), dependent on what the destination country accepts. Royal Mail state a 3-5 working day delivery guideline for this service within Europe, and a 5-7 working day guideline worldwide. However, we have found this is rarely the case outside of major cities, especially during busier periods (such as Christmas) this may not always be possible. This is a tracked and insured service, please contact us if you have not received your delivery within the above stated time-frames and we will assist you in locating your order.
For Expedited International Orders: We are able to offer expedited international shipping worldwide respected couriers. We can use DHL or another courier of your choice, but we are likely to get the best deal from DHL. Please feel free to use the 'Contact Us' form to ask for a DHL quote for your order.
We are able to offer expedited delivery worldwide using various couriers; this is something that we will examine on a case-by-case basis. Please email us and we will investigate your delivery options and let you know what is possible.
If you have selected a shipping method that does not include tracking/insurance then you accept and agree that in the instance that the parcel is lost or delayed, you will not be entitled to a refund or a replacement product, as we will be unable to make a claim for the loss.
We retain proof of postage at all times and reserve the right to use a different shipping method than you have selected in order to give your order added security in certain circumstances (e.g. for extremely high value orders we may upgrade to Courier delivery). In the majority of situations we will respect the customers chosen shipping method. We retain proof of postage for 180 days. After this time it may not be possible to retrieve your proof of postage.
Standard International Orders are not considered 'lost' by postal carriers until 90 days after the dispatch. As such, we will not consider an order to be officially lost until this time has passed. We may consider an order lost before this date based on tracking information and our previous experiences, but this will be examined on a case-by-case basis.
