Our Raw Cacao and Maple Sea Salt tastes like rich chocolate (think 70-85% dark), but is easily made sweeter by adding some raw honey or fruit.

“The absolute GOAT of protein. Easy on the digestive system and tastes amazing. No bloating whatsoever.” - Aaron

“The tastiest grown up protein powder I’ve ever had. No overly sweet taste, almost tastes like a coffee / chocolate smoothie”. - AC

“I advise anyone I know who lifts or anyone who simply just wants a little protein boost in their diet. It is excellent, it tastes great AND most importantly does NOT taste artificial like pretty much all of the whey protein powders out there. Best tasting REAL protein shake you’ll ever try!” - Phil H

Our grass-fed beef protein is highly bioavailable (absorbable) and contains other nutrients beef is known for, such as; collagen, gelatine and a variety of vitamins and minerals. Our cattle are grass-fed, antibiotic free and come from regenerative farms.

Each 1.27kg bag of our Cacao flavour contains 1kg of pure grass-fed beef protein, which equals 50 20g servings or 25 40g servings. The other 0.27kg is made up of just four real food ingredients to provide additional nutrients and flavour.

Each serving contains 19.26 grams of complete protein containing all 9 essential amino acids.

Why Grass-Fed Beef Protein Powder

19.26 grams of protein per 20 gram serving to support muscle growth, strength gain and fat loss*.
Contains collagen and gelatine, which supports joint health, connective tissues (tendons / ligaments) as well as hair, skin and nails.
Packed with micronutrients like vitamins B6, B9, B12 and the minerals iron and zinc.
Supports keeping the gut lining intact (combatting leaky gut) and in turn supports autoimmune issues and immunity.
Extremely easy to digest, so a great protein option for people who have issues with dairy, soy or plant based options.
Really easy to mix... lots of beef proteins don't blend well, however this isn't an issue with our powder.

How / When To Use

Consume 1-2 servings per day. Each serving is 25g (equivalent to 3-4 heaped spoons of the APE scooper). For each 25g serving, mix with 75-125ml of liquid (milk is our favourite). Add the powder before the liquid for best blending.

See product image gallery for recipe ideas, APE scoop measurement details and inspiration.

Beef protein can be used at any time throughout the day to increase protein intake.

Dr Gabrielle Lyon, a leading researcher in the areas of protein, muscle health and the importance of muscle mass for longevity strongly suggests that for optimal health we should be eating 1.2-1.6 grams of protein per kg of bodyweight per day as a minimum, which is well above the standard recommendation. Whereas Peter Attia MD author of #1 New York Times Bestseller, Outlive: The Science and Art of Longevity recommends 2g per kg of bodyweight per day.

Our favourite time to use our grass-fed beef protein is either post training in a shake or on a busy day as a high quality meal replacement.

Ingredient & Nutritional Information

Grass-Fed Beef Protein, Organic Maple Sugar*, Raw Cacao Powder, Madagascan Vanilla, Sea Salt.

*There’s under 3g of sugar per serving. To put that into perspective, an average apple contains around 10g.

Our raw cacao flavour has just five ingredients; grass-fed beef protein, organic maple sugar, raw cacao powder, Madagascan vanilla and sea salt. That means it’s free from; dairy, whey, soy, fillers, artificial sweeteners and preservatives… all ingredients that are unnecessarily included in lots of protein powders today.

It tastes like rich chocolate (think 70-85% dark), but is easily made sweeter by adding some raw honey or fruit.
