 PRX helps digest protein and protein invaders in the body, and may support immune function.*

PRX is the practitioner strength version of Enzymedica's Virastop product, each capsule being approximately twice the potency of Virastop.

Each enteric coated capsule provides:

• Protease Thera-blend™ 305,000 HUT
• Mucolase 14 mg
• Catalase 50 Baker
• Serratiopeptidase 37,500 SU
• Nattokinase NSK-SD blend 700 FU
• Mineral Blend 40 mg
• 120 Capsules per bottle. No excipients or fillers.

Recommended Usage: For maintenance, 1 capsule twice a day half an hour before or 2 hours after a meal. For therapeutic purposes PRX should be taken 3-4 times a day. More capsules may be added if needed.

Contraindications: If taking blood thinners the person should consult a physician.

This formulation is used to optimize the amount of protease absorbed into the bloodstream. Protease has the ability to break down not only protein in normal digestion, but also protein invaders which are not part of the natural body.* The results of PRX have been seen in the blood within ten minutes after ingestion whether there was food in the stomach or not.* The PRX formulation is based on the needs of the individual and not on the individual's size or weight. Children may safely take PRX. For children or elderly, PRX can be taken out of the capsule and mixed with liquid for easier ingestion.

Oral proteases taken on an empty stomach have been shown to be absorbed and carried into the blood stream where they are bound to alpha 2-macroglobulin. Several studies have indicated that oral proteases bound to the macroglobulins hydrolyze immune complexes, proteinaceous debris, damaged proteins, and acute phase plasma proteins in the blood stream.
